I would like to compete in a bikini body competition. Not because I want to strut around in a bikini, but because I want to see if I can cultivate the lean muscle mass required to compete. For me it isn’t even having the physical ability, it’s the mental ability.
In the meantime I am changing my training routines and my diet. I am trying to increase my protein intake. I hate smoothies so I had to find another way to get enough protein in my diet. I found Devotion protein. It is a whey protein so it might not work for everyone’s stomach but it doesn’t bother me.
I make a protein waffle every morning using the protein powder and waffle mix pictured above.
1. 1/3 cup of protein powder (20g protein, 1.5g fat, 6g carbs)
2. 1/3 cup of waffle mix (10g protein, 2g fat, 25g carbs)
3. One egg
4. 1/3 cup of water
I mix it all together and cook on the waffle maker for 1.5 minutes. The egg is optional. Just use more water.
