Products I buy

There are some products I buy where nothing else will do. I decided to compile a short list of those products for anyone looking for new ideas.

HAIR:

1. Shampoo and Conditioner

I have used this shampoo and conditioner for 3 years and I have no complaints. I have to wash my hair everyday and have always struggled with finding a shampoo and conditioner combo that didn’t leave my hair greasey or leave my hair brittle and dry. Then I tried Davines and it was life changing.  It’s not cheap, but with washing my hair everyday one set of bottles lasts about 3-4 months.

2. Hairspray

Another Davines product. You can buy it here. One bottle lasts me over half a year with daily use. My hair has a lot of flyaways and this products tames the flyaways without making my hair a Brillo pad.

MAKE UP:

1. Primer

I have gotten hooked on the purple primer. You can buy it here from Sephora. My face has a lot of redness and this really helps correct that. If you put foundation on a red face the redness will still come through. The downside is this is expensive and one bottle only lasts a few months.

2. Foundation and Concealer

Again not cheap but you get what you pay for. I have been using this and the matching concealer and I love it. The set is around $65 but it lasts for about 4-5 months and you don’t need a lot. It goes on smoothly and lasts all day, even when we are traveling and I am rubbing at my face. I buy it at Sephora.

3. Mascara

I love this mascara. It doesn’t clump, flake off and it lasts all day. Better than sex – too faced mascara. You can buy it at Sephora, Ulta, Macy’s.
